National Advocacy Organizations

National Bicycle Federation

Missouri has great cycling and livable streets advocacy going on. To begin, check out the Missouri Bicycle and Pedestrian Federation. These folks are doing fantastic work advocating for cycling and pedestrian infrastructure across the state. Their Advocacy Resources page is a great place to get started. From Livable Streets to touring routes and trail systems. Their Maps and Routes page is an amazing resource. They seem to be covering it all.

Not only are we working on our own campaign in Fredericktown and Madison County but others in the southeast region of our state are working on some amazing projects. Stay tuned for an update about new Ozark Trail mountain bike and bike packing routes which have been partially researched and developed but work is ongoing. Eventually they will connect the southeast region of Missouri into the southwest region’s Ozark Trail system of over 400 miles of trails.
