Thanks to the hard work of Jackie Ward at the MU Extension 4-H program, Fredericktown now has new bike racks for cyclists to safely lock their bikes to! Two have been installed on the Court Square and one at Rotary Park. Another will be installed at the new ballpark in the future. The Democrat News has a great story about the project here.
“Cycling can provide not only health benefits but allow for an economical option for those who may not be able to afford a car or wish to leave a smaller carbon footprint,” Ward said. “More racks creates accessibility to sport and hobby.”
Great work Jackie!
